A workshop to discuss the findings and implications of the Minnesota Bigheaded Carps Risk Assessment
To help inform Asian carp management and research priorities in Minnesota, a risk assessment was recently conducted to assess the threats posed by bighead and silver carp to the state of Minnesota. Attend the workshop to find out:
What Minnesota watersheds are most vulnerable to invasion by bigheaded carps
What impacts are most likely to result from an invasion
What this new information tells us about what is needed for invasive carp management in Minnesota
This is an opportunity to hear the full findings from the risk assessment and to discuss their implications with a broad group of stakeholders, decision-makers, researchers, resource managers, and interested members of the public.
When: March 15, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
