University of Minnesota, St. Paul campus
What is the status of research on spiny waterflea? When it comes to starry stonewort, what is known and unknown? Can new infestations of zebra mussels be eradicated? What kinds of projects are being conducted in the renovated invasive species lab?
Learn the answers to these questions - and many more! - at the 2016 Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research and Management Showcase. Join us on campus for pressentations about the latest MAISRC research on zebra mussels, invasive plants, spiny waterflea, invasive carp, harmful fish diseases, and more. Interact with faculty and researchers over lunch as they share the latest about their work. If you wish, take a tour of the newly renovated lab and get an inside-peek at research projects in action. Click here to view the schedule of breakout sessions. If you wish to attend the lab tour, be sure to choose that option when registering.
Don't miss opening remarks from DNR Commissioner Tom Landwehr. Also, enjoy beer, wine, and appetizers at a post-event reception with researchers, colleagues, and College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences Dean Brian Buhr.
