Join us on campus for an inside look at the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center! Interact with faculty and researchers as they share the latest about their work. See demonstrations of methods used to advance the science of AIS detection and control, and gain insights for working on AIS issues in your community. Learn about the latest research on invasive carps, zebra mussels, aquatic invasive plants, and harmful fish diseases. More details to follow! New this year! Attend your choice of afternoon field session to see demonstrations of methods used to advance the science of AIS detection and control and to gain insights for working on AIS issues in your community. (For those who cannot attend a field session, we will have an on-campus alternate option.)
Ticket cost includes on-campus presentations, lunch with researchers, and travel to and from field sessions, which are generally a 20-minute bus ride away. Field sessions will be conducted rain or shine, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing!
