AIS Area of Interest
I am interested in understanding different aspects of fish behavior and biology. With my Ph.D research, I studied the personalities and different behaviors of sharks, especially their movements in captivity and in the field. I am particularly interested in using acoustic and radio technology to get a strong insight into the everyday life of aquatic animals and how they cope with different challenges. Lock and dams present a challenge that both invasive and native fish need to deal with, and understanding how they do so is interesting on many aspects.
