Interested in hearing from a Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center scientist?
At MAISRC, we believe in the importance of sharing our research findings and updates with lakeshore associations, other researchers, and interested members of the public. The very best opportunity for you to hear from our researchers is at our AIS Research and Management Showcase, held annually in September (September 18, 2019) on the St. Paul campus at the University of Minnesota. This event highlights all of MAISRC’s research and includes hands-on demos and tours of the lab. Sign up here to be notified when registration opens.
If you’re hosting an event and would like to feature a MAISRC speaker, please contact Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org with information about the event, including the date, time, location, and preferred topic. Speaker’s fees may vary, but donations to help defray costs and support our research are welcomed.
While we try to honor as many speaking requests as we can, our researchers’ time is limited – especially during summer field season. Before submitting a request, please check the list below of upcoming events to see if one fits with your group’s interests. All events that are included below are open to the public; reach out to the contact person listed if you have any questions.
Thank you again for your interest in hosting a MAISRC speaker!
