AIS Area of Interest

Dr. Primus has strong interests in infectious disease, fish health, one health, and the diversity of biological systems. Much of his work is interdisciplinary in nature and incorporates analyses at several levels of biological organization ranging from genes and cells to organisms and populations. His current work focuses on emerging infections of fish, the development of sustainable aquaculture practices, and ecosystem health.
